In Conversation: Nerlov & Mahaya

Nerlov sings his spleen on pop compositions, between James Blake and Deftones, but with a mini short, like to sweeten the melancholy pill. If the word can be frontal and cynical, it is always with humor that Nerlov invites us to be “léger, léger” (light-hearted). Survivor of the band Vedett, San Carol and Sheraf, Nerlov met Atom (C2C, Beat Torrent) and together, they gave birth to efficient productions, a tad hip-hop, a tad electronic.

MAHAYA is a versatile artist and producer from the Republic of Moldova. Born in the village of Taraclia, Causeni district • He began his musical-pedagogical studies at the "Alexei Mateevici" Pedagogical College (2011-2015) • (2015 - 2018) Academy of Arts. From the age of 22, he begins his journey as a producer, experimenting with different musical genres and starts making arrangements, collaborating with different artists from the Republic of Moldova. He starts posting his first musical creations in 2020. The first concerts with his own creations begin in 2021. During these years, he was and is in a process of searching for an authentic formula to define his music and creative process. In June 2024, he releases "Signal in the wind", which is an album with new songs, in an alternative format.
