Founded in 2017 by Y.King and Belly Ranking, Dubmarine was born as a hangout spot for reggae and dub lovers in the heart of Basel's Quarterdeck at the Klybeck area.
For the past nine years, Dubmarine has hosted regular sessions entirely out of passion, with no commercial ambition and driven solely by a deep love for reggae, dub, and authentic soundsystem culture. What started as a meeting point for like-minded people has grown into a genuine community project, creating countless nights filled with unity, positive vibrations, heavyweight bass, and top-notch vinyl selections.
Since 2026, the Dubmarine crew consists of Y.King, Kangoodub, and Irie Teajah, three dedicated soundsystem enthusiasts committed to keeping the spirit alive and continuing to build bridges through music.
