Playaman began his adventure with decks in 1997 in his hometown - Bielsko-Biała. First musical inspiration was UK acid techno, followed by jungle and dub/reggae. In the following years, he co-founded the Junglizm Ragga Crew (JRC) collective, and then Respecta Kru, which over the years became a leading Polish group promoting non-commercial, broken beats.
In 2015 Playaman suspended his musical and promotional activities, focusing on his family and the development of a completely new area of life - Wyspowa Dolina - agritourism farm in the Beskid Wyspowy mountains. This new, extremely inspiring space gave him a new musical sensibility, moving towards calm, chill sounds in the style of psydub, psychill and downtempo.
